Some very easy ways to entice customers during slower periods of time are right under your nose. Most of them are very easy to implement in any type of restaurant setting. They also will generate more money than they will cost you to start. The initial start up fees will likely be in the form of advertising. You may need to have some materials printed up as well.

Just about every type of business experiences times of the day or evening when business just isn't what it could be. If you are tired of looking around at empty tables and chairs, you need to make some efforts to change all of that. Help your employees be more satisfied with their jobs keeping them busy. They will prefer working in a restaurant when there are more people around.

There are plenty of ways you can get more customers into your restaurant between meal times. Implementing a few of these ideas can help you have more profits. You may have more overhead due to the additional staff but it won't take up all of those profits. Your other overhead expenses such as electricity and water though won't increase much at all.

For many restaurants, between 3 pm and 5 pm is very slow. However, you can change all of that instantly. Just offer some great specials during these slower times of the day. You will quickly see more people coming in to see what you can offer. They will love having a late lunch or an early dinner to save money.

If you are a restaurant that also serves alcohol, you can offer two for one wines, wells, and drafts. Chances are those planning to have a meal and a few drinks will take you up on such offers. You can also offer great prices on appetizers for those that want to have a few drinks and something light to nibble on.

For those that offer meals to families, get something in place for them as well. While most of them enjoy eating out, the cost can really add up fast. Offer low cost meals for children or even free ones on certain days from certain times. Some free entertainment such as a magic show can help too.

Don't be afraid that these types of offers are going to cost you money. Take the time to really crunch the numbers. You will soon discover that these types of offers are going to get you more repeat business than ever before. It will allow you to benefit from all of the hours of operation instead of just particular ones.

You can try just one type of offer at a time to see how well it works out for your restaurant. You can also choose to try out different offers at different times of the day or various days of the week. Be creative so you can come up with the right type of choices for your particular restaurant.
