As Costa Rica has been a haven of tourism in previous years, the same fate awaits the country of Panama. Panama’s tourism surge started in the last couple of years when its economy has risen. After several experiences of rise and fall in its economy, Panama has managed to stabilize its economic activities with various public works programs, trade agreements and tax reforms. Because economy was doing well, it offered a lot of attraction for tourism. The infrastructure has been modernized; it sustained tax incentives and created a balance of comfort and a convenient cost of living.

Panama’s tourism surge can be credited to its offer of investment opportunities. As foreigners look for a place to invest, Panama’s tourist surge when these foreigners started to see the opportunities in the place. Low cost of living, safe environment, affordable properties, interesting culture and history and plenty of attractive spots are some of the reasons why investors consider making a living in Panama. As wise investors, tourist first enjoys the amenities that Panama has to offer. As soon as they felt the comfort in living in Panama they started to look for options on where to situate their investments in Panama and some of the tourist looks forward for retiree.

Another reason for Panama’s tourism surge is the development of its beaches. As foreigners look for a perfect vacations spots, Panama has a paradise to offer with its stunning beaches. There are many beaches to visit from as Panama is located in the coastlines of both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Developers have targeted these beaches in their property development so that visitors who want to do beach activities like surfing, swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling can readily find comfortable places to stay near the beach. Although there are various developments going on in the coastline of Panama, the beach still remained uncrowded. There are still plenty of places as there are miles and miles of beaches in the coastline of Panama.

Visitors from America also involved in Panama’s tourism surge as they have little adjustment to make. Even though Panama is considered a third world country, it carries most of America’s features. The currency bill of Panama is dollar so Americans do not have the hard time using their own currency in Panama. Also, the language spoken in Panama carries the two major languages in the world which is English and Spanish. Most importantly, people in Panama are generally hospitable. This makes the stay in Panama comforting and relaxing as there is no much adjustment done when staying in the place.

Finally, Panama is known as a good place for bird watching or fishing. Tourists who enjoy fishing can readily do so in the waters of Panama whether it is in the Pacific side or Caribbean side. Equipments for fishing are readily available in some parts of the beaches where fishing is a common activity. For those who prefer mountains, tourists can do bird watching as ecosystem of birds is preserved in the forests of Panama. Panama’s tourism surge as it offers activities to nature lovers.
