How to Make People Click Your Banner Ad

Banner advertisement is a great way to attract new visitors to your website. The advantage of this method of advertising is its' attractiveness. You can use pictures, animations, text or combine them all together into one small piece of graphic that can drive a tons of traffic to your service or product. There is a few ways to make people click your banner ad that you should consider while creating it.

1. First of all experiment with using reverse psychology on your banner ads. By telling people not to click your banner can encourage them to click indeed. For instance you can come up with: "Don't click here unless you want to make money"

2. Try to make your banner ad words as attractive as you can. Using the words such us: ultimate, powerful, amazing, legitimate, outstanding, lifetime hot, etc. The words should highlight your offer.

3. Another way is to offer a discount on your banner ad. People usually like special offers and are willing to pay for something at as low price as possible. So the offers such us: "50% discount" or "buy one get one free" are always welcome on your banner ad.

4. Place testimonial on your banner ad. Testimonial make it more reliable and people will be more sure that they aren't wasting their time clicking your ad. Make your testimonial clear and informative so visitors can understand what is your offer about.

5. You could also place an image of famous and respectable person that will be presenting your product on the banner. This way you will attract even more clicks, because people will be more happy to buy something related to someone they know and respect.

6. Another thing you should consider to place on your banner ad is guarantee. It could read for instance "satisfaction guarantee", "money back guarantee" etc.

7. Some people like online newcomers might even not realize that they can click on your banner ad. Displaying the phrase "click here" will assure them they can click indeed. This way you can increase your clickthroughs.

8. You can also advertise a trial or sample offer. If you tell people that there is no obligation or risk if they click your banner they will be more willing to do so and try your product for limited time.

9. Let people know about the major benefit coming from your service. Place the phrases like: make money, "loose weight fast" or anything related to your product and you will drive targeted visitors to click your banner ad.

10. Advertise a free offer on your banner ad. People love free stuff and letting them know on your banner that you have something extra for them for free if they click your banner will push another bunch of people to check out what you have to offer.

Try to keep in mind that the banner advertising allows you to image your product but at limited space. So use this space smartly to get as many people to click your ad as possible.
