Before you go out and purchase an underbody kit, it is very important to determine whether or not they are legal. Checking out your state’s vehicle codes or calling your local law enforcement agency will help you determine whether or not it is legal. If it is not, and you have already installed it, you most likely will have to uninstall it, especially if you get pulled over. It would be extremely disappointing and a good waste of money to purchase a kit, pay for it to be installed, only to find out that they are illegal in your state. Therefore, do your homework early, so that you don’t waste your time or money.
