It's a well-known fact that there are a lot of people in the world that smoke cigarettes. Smoking is one of those habits that are very hard to break. When someone lights up a cigarette, they usually use a match or a lighter. The next time someone lights up a cigarette with a lighter, why not help him or her to be enlightened to your company by giving them a promotional lighter?

Branded lighters are not often thought of as a good promotional item, but take a look at the facts and see how lighters can help you to promote your business.

1. Promotional lighters are inexpensive

One of the best qualities of a promotional item is a low price, and that is something that cigarette lighters have going in their favour. When purchased in bulk, lighters are items that are very cost effective.

2. Promotional lighters are a usable item

One thing is for certain – a promotional item has to be used in order to be effective advertising. Given to the right people, the promotional lighters are going to be used several times a day.

3. Promotional lighters have visibility

When something is used ten or fifteen times a day the chances are good that the message that it carries is going to be well known. Whenever the promotional lighters are brought out and used, the company's name and logo and other information is going to be seen.

How to market promotional lighters

If you have chosen to get promotional lighters, you are going to find that there are ways and places that you can use to give them out and get the word out about your company.

1. Conventions and conferences

If you have a booth at a business convention or conference, you can give out promotional lighters as promotional items. Even if you give them out to people who aren't smokers, they can be used for candles.

2. Company events

Promotional lighters can be given out to adults when they attend a company event.

3. Donate to organisations

Offer promotional lighters to organisations to sell for a fund raising drive.

Promotional lighters may not seem like an item that a lot of people are going to want, but when you consider how many smokers there are in the world, it's not such a bad idea to make them a part of an advertising campaign. Maybe one day in the distant future smoking will be a thing of the past but for now smoking is very much a part of our society. After all, they are small, they are inexpensive, and they are an item that everyone can use, whether they are a smoker or not.

People purchase lighters at gas stations, convenience stores and supermarkets all of the time without giving a second thought to what they look like or what is inscribed on them. Just think about someone borrowing a friend's lighter and seeing your company logo upon it.

When you offer promotional lighters, you can be certain that your company's name and logo are going to be seen by a lot of people. Branded lighters are one promotional item that is truly worth having.
