If you want to lose your flab permanently, you need to be patient because it takes a lot of time and effort to safely and effectively shed some pounds. However, there are times when there are surprise meetings, dates and occasions when you have to look slimmer and sexier in just a couple of hours.

Well, you do not have to starve yourself for a week or kill yourself to death by climbing stairs or exercising if you need to appear slimmer. Below are some ways in which you can make yourself look thinner, feel greater and appear sexier.

Stand Tall

A lot of people appear bigger than they really are because of their poor posture. Look at yourself in the mirror and see how big your tummy appears if you slouch. However, if you stand straight, keeping in mind that your chest should be out and your stomach should be tucked in, you will discover that your chests look bigger and perkier and your stomach flatter.

The same is true while you are sitting down. Be mindful of your posture because sitting up and standing straight gives an illusion of length. By the way, good posture is also an indication of good upbringing. Princes, princesses and other people of high stature have been taught how to sit and stand properly, especially during important gatherings and occasions.

Wear Black

You can never go wrong with black because it is elegant and really flattering, especially to those who have bulges here and there. If you don't want to look bland and boring, jazzing up your black dress or trousers with accessories such as necklaces, brooches, and scarves can be very easy. If you are going to a wedding, just add big gold, silver and colorful accessories or scarves to your outfit will make you look more chic. Remember, when in doubt, it is always safe to wear black.

Wear Flattering Undergarments

Sometimes the undergarments you use can make or break your entire look. Thus, it is very important to carefully choose what type of brassiere or panties you need to put underneath your clothes.

A bra that is ill fitted can make your boobs look flat, saggy or simply out of control. However, if your bra is perfect for you, including the cup size, you will realize that all your breast-related problems will be eliminated. If you have small breasts, there are types of bra that can maximize the appearance of your breasts. If you have saggy breasts, there are push-up varieties that perk up your boobs and give you a better cleavage. For those who have very big breasts, a bra that gives ample support is the best choice.

If you have curves on the wrong places, you can also wear girdles or slimming undergarments. For those who have big bellies and fat pockets at the back and side, there are lingerie that can cover your abdomen and back. There are also those that make your buttocks look bigger and your thighs slimmer. These are important pieces of clothing that can help make you look more than five pounds slimmer.

Match Shoes With Your Hose

Another way to ensure that your legs look slimmer and longer than they actually are is by wearing hose that matches your shoes. If you are wearing black shoes, please do not wear gray stockings because this will make people want to look at your big thighs, instead of your ample hips.

If you have a couple of weeks or months to prepare for that special occasion, you should start an exercise and diet regimen to help you shed excess pounds.
