Well, in fact using distilled white vinegar has been around for decades – it is not a new trendy or passing fade. When you were unable to buy the range of chemical based products that are available now, women in the 30s, 40s and 50s used distilled white vinegar to clean plenty of things around the home. Some of the benefits of using distilled white vinegar include the fact that it can cut through hard stains that have been on an item for some years, it does not streak (particularly important for glassware), it brings out a greater shines in porcelain and glassware and it can remove any dulling of any item that has been caused by constant washing in a modern day dishwasher.
