If you have bay windows you want to put curtains over there are a few things you need to think about. Most people use blinds for oddly shaped windows but you can hang curtains. When you find the right curtain poles it will look the nicest in your room.

Bay windows look fabulous in any home. You might have bay windows in your home and you want to accent them in some way to make your home have a touch of class. You can by finding the right curtains poles. The right poles will be shaped to fit the windows and allow for the entire area to be covered properly. You don't want curtain poles that don't fit the window properly or it sill look ridiculous.

Most bay windows are three sided. If you have a three sided bay window then you can find a curtain pole that will angle around the windows just right. This will allow you to buy three different slim line curtains that can hang independently on the same pole. You will hang all of the curtains on the same pole and you can pull them around the pole as you want to adjust the light coming into the room. You can also buy one big curtain for a three window bay window curtain pole. You will then pull the curtain across the pole as you would want to adjust the light.

A bay window curtain pole is designed to fit the odd shape of the window. It is not common to use this type of curtain pole for any other window but a bay window. This is because the pole is not straight at all. It is angled. Finials look great at the end of a pole.

curtain poles for bay windows can be accessorized using things like finials and sashes. if you want to tie back your curtains then you should use stuff like sashes that match your curtains. People will be very pleased with the way it looks when you tie back your curtains. Finials look nice on the end of a pole also because they add style. You might think about a finial that matches your pole too.

If you have bay windows that are odd shaped then you should measure the angles of your windows before you attempt to purchase a pole. Not all bay windows are the same. If you just buy a pole without measuring then it won’t fit. Measure your windows and have time. You can also have a professional come out to your home and measure them for you if you don't know how to measure them.

Bay windows are special with it comes to curtain poles. If you decide on going with curtains rather than blinds then you need to get the right poles. Poles will make a big difference in being able to hang the curtains up properly. Decorating your windows is a great thing to do and you should give style to any room in your home buy using creative curtain poles.
