How can you possibly know what the best niche is if you don't know what people are looking for.

Google also has a free keyword research tool. Its free and you can use it to look up possible keywords in a niche that you are interested in. This tool will also give you an idea of how much competition you have for that niche. If everyone under the sun is bidding and paying for particular keywords you have in mind then you will need to refine your keywords or find a new niche.
