In fact, there were already countries such as Air Canada which could not really compete with low cost rivals like Canjet, Jetsgo and Westjet. However, prior to the low-cost air-lining business by small operators the Air Canada is known to be the leader in the country. In January 2001, Brazil also operated Gol Transportes Aeros followed by the Webjet in 2006.
