More recently though products like pedal locks have been coming into the market and these allow people to disable their pedals from working. There are many other locks as well such as gear locks, hood locks and tire locks. All of these will definitely ensure a thief isn’t going to be getting away with stealing your car.

Some of the products can be expensive and also a pain to always use, but if you’d rather keep your car and you live in an area that has a high crime rate for stolen cars then I would recommend using at least one of the prevention products listed above. It’s a lot more of a hassle when your car is stolen so preventing it from happening would be your best case scenario.

All of the methods are great and already proven to work so you can choose whichever you feel comfortable with but I do recommend that you use at least one of them. Tons of cars are stolen everyday and if you don’t want this to happen to you then you need to ensure you keep your car safe and in tact.
