You will experience three tangible and immediate benefits the moment you invest in low voltage garden lights. Low voltage garden lights offer greater aesthetic flexibility, greater safety, and greater cost effectiveness. As the value of the equipment speaks for itself, the key to designing a low voltage garden lighting theme is to know which equipment to purchase and where to position that equipment for maximum return on investment. While online superstores can offer you hundreds, if not thousands, of bulb and fixture models, few if any will go to the lengths that companies like Illuminations Lighting and Design will undertake to help you plan and develop a unique and truly beautiful decorative theme.

Many of our clients have already acquired a certain level of experience working with lights and lighting design on their own. The two biggest obstacles they routinely run up against are the difficulties inherent in concealing generic outdoor garden lights and the difficulties that readily become apparent as soon as they need to move one or more light fixtures. Warnings about these problems do not come written on the box, and as such require the help of consultants to address. With low voltage garden lighting, we can take a less-is-more approach to design that emphasizes illumination and minimizes equipment visibility. Low voltage garden lighting fixtures tend to be rather small in size, and as such are easier to conceal. Being smaller and more lightweight makes them easier to move from point to point, so if your garden grows, or if you have to weed your garden to the extent its perimeter changes, you can move your lights accordingly to maintain harmony and balance.

Investing in low voltage garden lights will also bring you greater peace of mind if you grow beautiful but otherwise sensitive plant species. Although many of our customers are now cultivating more indigenous plant species in their gardens, many are still landscaping with non-native species that can suffer under intense lighting conditions. Low voltage garden lighting will protect these plants, increasing both their beauty and their lifespan. An even greater benefit to pet owners is the assurance that curious dogs that like to chew on wires face a much lower risk of electrocution around low voltage garden lighting fixtures. The same principle applies to children who like to make toys out of sophisticated devices. We certainly do not encourage abuse or misuse of equipment in any way, but in the event that your children do engage in such mischief the risk of fatal shock is minimized, if not eliminated altogether.

But what if you don’t like dogs and you don’t have kids, and all you really want your garden to do is grow different colors of roses? Low voltage garden lights will still benefit your pocketbook by reducing the frequency of maintenance and replacement. The longer lamp life of these fixtures, combined with their minimal power consumption, cost less money to operate than high voltage or retail equivalents.

The return on your investment in professionally installed, commercial grade low voltage garden lighting will become readily apparent on your next electric bill. If you are currently operating garden lights at normal voltage and are paying too much, consider the advantages that switching to low voltage alternatives can offer you today.
