The Cape Point Nature Reserve became a conservation area in 1938. Table Mountain National Park was incorporated into the area in 1998. From Cape Town, the drive to the conservation mission will take you about forty-five minutes. From the city bowl, you will need to turn left after the M3. After that, drive along the eastern coast as it follows the peninsula.
