1. Figure out what He/She needs. Most of the time when there is a problem, people don't talk about what they need. If you can figure out on your own what He/She needs, or better yet ask your ex what you could have done better or what He/She needed in your relationship, and then do your best to do that for them now.

2. Pay attention!! Listen to Him/Her when they want to talk about things, and then try to do what He/She suggests or whatever the out come of the discussion might be. If you are able to listen and take care of Him/Her, even if you have already broke up, you will show them that they can count on you.

3. Keep your promises!!! If you have promised anything, make sure that you keep that promise. Never go back on a promise if you want to get back together with Him/Her again.
