The Delo Lindo line was created in 1985 by Laurent Matras and Fabien Cagani, who were both born in 1961. Matras was born in Strasbourg, and Cagani in Paris. Both designers joined forces in 1985 when they were living and working in Paris. Both have the same background, having studied interior architecture at the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris.”
