It's easy to make good money taking paid surveys at home if you do it right. This article tells you about paid surveys and shows you how to avoid the traps and get good money for surveys by going about it in the right way...

Taking paid opinion surveys at home, over the Internet, is an easy way to pick up some extra cash. There are many ways to make money on the Net, but very few (if any) are easier to qualify for and get started with.

Any consumer (a consumer is anyone who eats and wears clothes. Would you qualify?!) eighteen or over with sufficient technical skills to receive and send e-mails and a willingness to sign up with survey makers, can get money for surveys.

Large companies have to know consumer opinions and preferences to plan new products, evaluate present products and services and know how effective their advertising is. To get this info they hire market researchers. Market researcher use paid opinion surveys to measure consumer opinion and report back to their client companies.

Thousands of surveys are being made every week. The only reliable way to get volunteers to fill out all those survey questionnaires is to pay them. So the market researchers budget payments to participants into the cost of the surveys they make.

Most surveys pay between $10 and $25 for your opinion and the few minutes of your time that it takes to fill out the questionnaire form. If you take a $10 survey and a $25 survey every day you will bring in over $1,000 a month in extra income!

The key to actually making money with paid surveys at home is to start with a great list of good survey makers. There'smore than 700 survey makers who are active in the U.S. internationally there's more than 3,000. You will want to sign up with the 20% of those that offer legitimate paid online surveys that pay on time, pay well and pay in cash or equivalent.

You also want to sign up with most of the 40% that are second tier, paying, but not as well and not as fast. These are still worthwhile. You want to avoid the bottom 40% of time-wasters that either pay little or nothing or are really sales companies whose goal is to sell things to YOU!

To know which is which, you need a good list. You need to be careful in this because the lower 40% recruit heavily to compensate for the high turnover amongst their survey participants. They pay recruiters to recruit you. This is what finances most so-called "free lists".

Actually, there is no such thing as a "free list". All lists are paid for. If not by the user/survey participant, then by the lower 40% of survey makers, trying to recruit new survey takers (like you) to replace those they had that got tired of working for nothing and quit.

The safest and most effective way to get a good list is by joining a good paid survey membership site and getting a copy of their list, the one they maintain for their membership. Select one with a strong 60-90 day refund guarantee and a low refund rate. Low refund rates tell you they have happy clients who got money for surveys and were satisfied.

When you choose your membership site, sign up and get access to their list, then sign up with all of the survey makers on their list that accept applicants from the area where you live. The more survey makers you sign up with, the more surveys you will be offered and the more money you will make.
