If you are in the medical profession, you know how important to have your medical scrubs all the time. If lawyers have their suits and engineers have their protective helmet on the site, then medical attendants and practitioners must always have their scrubs and white uniforms on the hospital to give better and faster service in saving one's life or limb. Comfortable, stylish and well fitting medical scrubs are hard to find unless you have one made especially for you by a couture. It is important to care for your scrubs and you can save a lot of money and the energy for looking for a new replacement.

Here are simple ways to remember in order for you to care for your scrubs:

1. Examine the medical scrubs you have like your landau scrub tops and from these tops, see if there are pieces that needs replacement already or pieces which are new. Then segregate the new ones from the old ones in your cabinet. This way, you know what pairs are to be used during your workdays and at the same time, you get to used those pieces that you don't notice because they are mixed with the old ones or in the back of your closet hidden from your view.

2. If you are using a pair of scrubs and you don't mix your scrub tops with other landau scrub pants, then segregate them also as a pair for you to save time in finding these pairs.

3. After using your scrubs after a medical work, place it on a plastic or a mini bag so that you could separate it from your clean clothes. Avoid leaving your dirty clothes for weeks especially if there are stains on it. Also, avoid using your scrubs as a rag as when you use it to wipe dirty spots on your locker. You have a rag or tissue designed for cleaning.

4. If your scrubs are spilled with medicines or vomits from children or any other chemical, leave it on a basin as soon as possible and let a warm water be washed over it. Warm water makes the chemicals or dirt separate from the fabric.

5. If you are the ones doing the laundry, don't mix it with other clothes so that the colors and dirt will not mix. Also, do not put too much fabric softener because it makes your scrubs prone to fabric breakage. It is also not good because it makes your scrubs look old and used too much. Further, your scrubs might have been spilled with medicines or with chemicals and other dirt that you don't want to be mixing with your other clothes.

6. After drying your scrubs, iron it and hang it on your closet. You can also bring hangers in your locker at the hospital so that you can have a well ironed scrubs at your disposal.

Now that you know the different ways to care for your medical scrubs, you don't need to buy new ones every few months and you will save a lot of money and you don't need to worry anymore of finding scrubs that suit you well.
