As far as the equipment that you need to start up a business, it all depends on the type of cleaning that you are going to be doing. For some kinds of specialized cleaning, such as carpet cleaning or floor scrubbing, the startup costs can be a little bit more expensive. It is often best to start out with some light office cleaning or perhaps residential cleaning in order to build up your finances to purchase the larger equipment. If it does become necessary for you to use these larger pieces in your office cleaning jobs, simply rent them from a local hardware store.

It takes a little bit of diligence on your part but if you do a good job for your existing clients, you will find that your client base grows at an alarming rate. In fact, many people who start cleaning businesses soon have to turn away work so that they can concentrate on their existing contracts.
