There are thousands of couples, both married and unmarried, around the world who hope to have children. However, sometimes that's just not an option for them, because of various medical conditions. These same people also often do not have the financial ability to adopt children.

So, it's no wonder why many people are jealous of the Spears family (Lynne, Britney, Jamie Lynn) for their superior fertility. This is a family who, with their fertility, has the potential to populate Hollywood with lots and lots of little offspring, and they so far haven't done too good of a job doing so.

Let's start with the mother of Britney and Jamie Lynn – Lynne Spears. There's no doubt as to her fertility, as she has had three children (add big brother Brian to the famous sisters). Brian has pretty much kept himself out of the limelight, so maybe she did a better job raising him. But, she let her two girls get washed away in a tidal wave of fame and fertility.

Britney's troubles have been well-publicized, so there's no need to discuss them again here. But, part of those troubles have to do with the hormonal changes she had when she had two children in less than two years. Actually, this is something that can happen to lots of women – getting pregnant immediately after they have their first child – because the body is especially fertile during this time.

Unfortunately for her, she's added bad parenting skills to the mix. Driving with her son in her lap, partying at all hours and leaving her children in the care of someone else, the list goes on. It's no wonder that she lost custody of her children! So, what did her fertile skills do? It provided a way for two innocent little guys to come into the world amidst intense media scrutiny. Let's hope Britney continues on the path of healing for the sake of herself and her sons.

Jamie Lynn Spears seemed to be the most normal one of the bunch. She kept out of the tabloids, and had a successful show. She was a teen idol, and she could have used this position as a role model to do great things. Well, she never really got the chance, because she's now a young mother at just 17 years old!

This Hollywood family is actually not out of the ordinary in terms of their ability to have lots of babies in a relatively short amount of time. Instead, it has a lot to do with how these women had children at a very young age, thanks to unprotected sex. It really doesn't take too much work to use protection!

The female body is ready to have children as soon as it starts menstruating. The younger a woman is, the more fertile she is, because she has a higher egg count. In the old days, life expectancy was short, so women got married and started having children as soon as they were able. Now, women are waiting longer, and as such, should be more responsible.
