It also means the fact of becoming rich or famous or of getting a high social position.

On the other hand, being successful means achieving your aims, purpose, missions and plans.

The above definition have opened our eyes to major facts such as the facts that, a rich man is not necessarily a successful man. As a young man of 18, you aimed at owning ten houses, twenty cars, awife and three kids at the age of thirty. At thirty like you planned, you already owned eight houses, eighteen cars, a wife and two kids. Are you rich? Of course, but are you successful? Definitely no.

A successful man commits his ways, life and everything to God, waiting upon the lord for the signal to go on. He seeks the lord’s advice, takes his counsel and is afraid of him.
