So, you've labored long and hard to get your first digital information product into the Clickbank Marketplace. Your ClickBank account is all set, your sales page has been fine-tuned and you've tested the whole buying and downloading process.

You've also set the affiliate commissions at 70% to give your Clickbank affiliates a good incentive to promote your new product. After all, without them you will be all on your own trying to build a stream of traffic to get buyers onto your site!

But how can you most effectively help your affiliates help you?

There is a lot of material you can prepare over time to help your affiliates - who often know next to nothing about your product, but want to promote it: email follow-ups to use with an autoresponder; email sales letters; banners and various image ads; text ads; and articles to publish on their sites or in emails.

However, probably the most valuable marketing resource you can offer your Clickbank affiliates is a rebrandable ebook or report - containing valuable information relating to your product - that they can offer their visitors.

Not familiar with the concept? Simply put, a rebrandable ebook is a promotional or informational PDF file in which your affiliates can replace the hyperlinks with their own affiliate links.

This means your affiliates will have a powerful viral bonus which will always carry their affiliate link, wherever it goes - a great incentive for them to spread it far and wide! And all these links point to your own sales page.

Many of your affiliates will also know that it is usually a very ineffective strategy to simply send a prospect directly through their affiliate link to your sales page. Only a small percentage of these visitors will buy on a first contact with your product.

Experienced Clickbank affiliates mostly make use of squeeze pages where they send visitors to opt into their mailing list. A squeeze page is a landing page where the only option is to subscribe to the affiliate's mailing list - or to leave.

For ovious reasons most visitors will be more inclined to give their email address if they receive something valuable in return. This is where a rebrandable ebook comes in handy!

In fact, some squeeze page systems make use of more than one bonus in succession, the first to get the prospect to enter their details, and the second to encourage them to confirm their subscription (the so-called double opt in).

Once the prospect is safely confirmed, the affiliate will start promoting your product to these leads through a series of email follow-ups.

What could you as a product owner write about in such a rebrandable report?

Let's say your Clickbank account has been set up to sell a recipe book with 101 recipes. What could you write your free report about? Well, you could simply put together 5 sample recipes from your product, add a little introduction, a couple of pictures and a cover graphic.

In other words, offer your Clickbank affiliates a free bonus report which is valuable in and of itself, but which makes the reader want more... your product!

Provide your affiliates with this marketing tool and watch the effect on your Clickbank account...
