In an article a little while back, I discussed the similarities between achieving your goals and the GPS systems found in a lot of cars. Give it your destination and the GOS will take you every step of the way to your destination. GPS can't help you get anywhere if you don't tell it where you are going.

When you made your top 3 list of your goals, I talked about how important it was to really connect with your drive to achieve and the fact that the more drive you have directed towards you goals, the more powerful you efforts will be. I'd like to take that idea and expand on it here today.

Desire is one of the most powerful motivators that human beings have. Desire can give us the motivation we need to really make things happen for us. If you desire something enough, the impossible becomes possible.

When you want something intensely, everyone around you can feel that energy - even the Universe itself will take notice. This will cause the necessary people and circumstances to gravitate to you. You can find help appearing out of nowhere when the Universe is working with you towards you goal.

This is why it's really important to connect with your feelings of desire when focusing on your goals. The more desire that is attached to your goal, the more power it holds. It works in this way because the Universe is actually designed to respond to your desire and assist you in reaching your goals. It does this for every human being, without disrupting the desires or goals of others.

If you have the Universe working for you, then you'll have no trouble arriving at your destination. If you go for the goals which truly match up with your desires, the Universe will make sure that you get there.

Whether you are hoping to change your entire life or just get a better job, you'll find it's easier than you might think. You can think about it this way - since the Universe will respond to your desires by helping you to make things happen, is there anything you can't do if you want to badly enough? As long as you work towards meeting your goals using your desire, there's nothing you can't do - this is the secret to why people who go for the things they are passionate about tend to be happy and successful. It's also the reason that people who pursue goals they don't really want find things difficult and their lives unfulfilling.

For most, change is not easy and this is why so many choose to remain where they are. Frankly, quitting your job or changing careers for the sake of pursuing your passion can be nerve racking. The responsibility of caring for a family is the most common reason for not wanting to leave a secure situation. While providing for your family is a valid concern, it isn't a valid reason to remain in a situation that is limiting. What is the cost at the end of the day? You hate the work, the hours are long, you're missing out on precious family time - and you are at the mercy of someone else's time clock (either your boss or your clients).

You can't really fake this - the Universe can't be fooled so easily and will not work with you in achieving goals which aren't what you want. Connect your desire to your goals and start working to make them a reality.
