It is a sad thing when a person you have invested your emotions and your love in breaks the news that he is no longer interested. The broken heart breeds with disappointment and the strength to face tomorrow is gone overnight. If your boyfriend tells you that he doubts whether he has any feelings for you and that he wants to be given time to decide whether she wants to marry you, how would you take it? Is it a positive or negative thing? Would you leave him and go back to your parent's house or would you hang in there? I know it is not easy to overcome the homesick feeling but you ought to give him the space he needs to recollect his thoughts. Do not keep on calling him and popping in his house unexpectedly.

A heart break is always traumatizing and painful but for the love you have for your love you should restrain your behavior to give him the time he has requested. It might sound trite at the moment but time is known to be the best healer of a broken heart. In the letter, ask yourself questions such as: what do i miss about the relationship, what is making me angry, what is it that i fear about the break up?, Did i play any part in the break up?, What will i always appreciate about my ex-boyfriend?

After you have looked at all these areas, you will soon get fed up with being emotionally down and unproductive. This is a good signal that you are moving on. The desire to get over your bad emotional life will come out of self-love but not out of self-hate. Please understand that your emotional well-being is key to self improvement. To perfectly move on you have to get rid of any reminder of your ex-lover. Do not destroy them but relocate them to the back of your closet if you used to share a room. If they are frontiers in your current environment they will trigger thoughts about him and eventually slow the healing process of a broken heart. It is impossible to forget about him completely so when you feel the need to reconnect you can always pull out his old T-shirt or a photo. It is good to allow yourself feel sad or even scribble down something about how you feel then move back to your new life.

Your broken heart sometimes takes you back to the old memories and you end up feeling miserable. Make a list of fun activities you enjoy and do one of them when you are feeling overcome by grief. It might be watching a movie, hanging out with friends or writing. You will be shocked at how perfectly this works to enlighten your mood. We can always learn from failure to make our success attainable. Your break up was may be due to incompatibility or poor communication. Learn from these mistakes.
