There are only two things sure in life, as Benjamin Franklin would have us believe - death and taxes. Arguably, most people will pay more attention to taxes but not to the matter of death that, unfortunately, happens to the best of us.

What happens when a loved one dies suddenly and you find yourself in dire straits? You cannot apply non-existent burial policies, you cannot withdraw imaginary savings, and you cannot borrow fictional bank loans. What do you do then?

Get Fast Loans

Fast loans are just that - fast and quick. You can apply online with little documentary requirements, get your money in hours and not days, you can pick it up or have it electronically deposited to your account, and you can pay it on your next payday.

The fast loans you get are unsecured so there is no need to find collaterals, which takes loads off your already burdened shoulders. The speed with which fast loans are secured can be used to augment any life insurance proceeds you can have and the savings you can afford to withdraw.

And if you ask any person who has buried a loved one, the grief of losing a beloved is almost eclipsed by the grief of losing a lot of money to bury the dead. Almost, but not quite.

Skip Embalming the Body

If the fast loans are still inadequate, you can always opt to skip the embalming procedures. Did you know that the age-old tradition of embalming the dead can be the death of your wallet? It can easily cost you $4,000 and you have to pay the funeral staff to apply make-up and style the hair, which can set you back hundreds of dollars again!

The offset is that your loved one will have a closed casket. If you are not into other people viewing the dead or if the deceased has firmly requested for a closed casket, then this option is for you. You have to check with local authorities about closed casket regulations though.

Skip the Casket Blings

If you want an open casket but the fast loans you and your family secured were still inadequate, you can choose a simple casket. Let's face it. The beautifully sculptured, gold-inlaid, solid wood and steel caskets you will be presented with at the funeral parlor can cost an arm and a leg. And for what? To be termite feed six feet under?

Choose Cremation

For cremation, you can always rent a casket before cremation is done. Your deceased will understand, God bless his soul wherever he is (hopefully in heaven), because there is simply no sense in spending thousands of dollars on something and then deliberately burning it! Remember that you still have to buy the urn and feed the guests, though hopefully not from the urn.

Donate to Science

Well, this is not for everybody. There are religious and cultural considerations that must be deliberated on by the family. But if the deceased expressed this desire to help advance medical science, your family has no objections, and your friends understand, then why ever not? It is free, after all!

Now that you know the cost of dying to the living, you should be able to provide for your own death. And don't think that it is still far away in the future because you can control your career path but you definitely cannot control your mortality. Well, at least not till you find the elixir of youth.
