While these two ingredients can help the fight against wrinkles by exfoliating dead skin cells and helping in the production of new skin cells, they can decrease the effectiveness of sunscreen and they can cause your skin to become more sensitive to the sun, hence why night creams should only be used at night.

The third cream is one that is somewhat “universal”, as it can be used in either the day or night. This type of cream is usually just a glorified moisturizer for the eyes, and typically they do not contain any of the stronger anti-wrinkle ingredients like retinol or AHAs.

The best advice that anyone can get with regards to choosing the best eye wrinkle cream is to get one that contains ingredients which will aid in the prevention of damage to and protection of the skin around the eyes, and most products that contain AHAs and retinol are enough to do the job in staving off wrinkles around the eyes.
