After paying for the course, you can start your training by downloading the training tool. This done, forget the internet. You can do all your studying without needing the internet. You also have the option of combining your self-study with a classroom course partnered with the website where you signed up. Online support is available should you have any problems.

After the course, you are given a certificate of completion and you use this to apply for the exam. Applying for the exam can be done online. After paying for the exam, you will soon receive notice that you can take the exam in any of the accredited testing centers. The PMP Exam

The exam is computer based and there will be 200 multiple choice questions and you are allowed four hours to finish the exam. As a non-PMI member, a $555.00 fee for the exam is charged, quite a hefty sum but worth it once you have your certificate certified by PMI.

Passing the PMP exam is to understand the PMI version of project management and memorizing the relevant terminology. Do not be fooled that you do not need to memorize anything. You do. College graduate you are not, but you have a chance at a PMP certification.
