Many PC users, at some time during their PC patronage, wonder to themselves, "Why is my computer slow on open?" There are many possible answers to this common question. Computers tend to encounter problems in speed and performance as time goes by. This is because they have gone and continue to go through a system of commands every time they are used. This results in the PCs getting confused and overworked. Although they are machines, computers need care and attention just like us, humans, and do in order to perform well.

If you are asking yourself "Why is my computer slow on open?", then you are most likely encountering runtime problems. Contrary to the belief of some PC users, runtime problems are not disastrous and won't cause irreversible damage like full-pledged system crashes do. However, they need to be fixed in order for you to fully utilize the powers of your computer.

Before you do something to solve your desperate query "Why is my computer slow on open?", it is important to first find out what runtime problems are and what they do to your computer. The term runtime pertains to the operations of a particular application from start to finish, and runtime problems are the errors that occur in the process. Runtime errors can be quite frustrating because it is very difficult or even impossible to test applications a hundred percent before they are released for public usage or consumption. This is the why runtime problems that makes your and my computer slow on open are almost always sure to take place, and they cause the registry to become full, resulting in poor and pitiful PC performance.

Runtime errors that make your and my computer slow on open may be caused by a number of elements, including malicious software or malware, spyware, and a host of other viruses slowly eating up and wreaking havoc on your computer system. This is why runtime errors, while they do not cause permanent and serious damage, should not be ignored. They should be dealt with right away.

There are a number of things you can do to help avoid runtime problems so you won't have to get frustrated over having to wait for your computer to finally open or start up. First, install software for detecting and destroying malware (including malicious adware), spyware, and viruses. If you are on a budget, you'll be happy to know that there are several websites that offer free anti-malware, anti-spyware, and anti-virus software packages. Next, use a registry cleanup software package to keep your registry in good condition once again. By doing this, you will be able to free up precious space and organize your computer system again. Finally, pay attention to the runtime messages that pops up on your screen when runtime errors occur. These messages don't just come out at random - they actually tell you the type of error that is taking place so you can do the appropriate fixing.
