Traveling means moving from the usual place where you live or work (or study) for a period of time. There are as many tourist ways as there are reasons to travel. It is the case today that the expression tourism in Sardinia is synonymous to seaside tourism. In reality you can live many tourist experiences.

You can do different kinds of vacations in Sardinia and discover each time a new crop of the island through a new point of observation. The sea is certainly the main attraction of this island in the middle of the Mediterranean. The blue takes different shades from one coast to another, so as not to see a beach like another for the color of sand, the vegetation, the scenarios, the winds.

But what makes Sardinia unique and fascinating is the mix of all the elements that characterize it. The sea offers a very partial view. There are other corners that you do not expect to find, especially in the hinterland.
The territory is mainly covered with hills (especially in Marmilla and Trexenta) and mountains, made up by massive ancient pitchs of different heights with the highest part in the area called Barbagia. Sometimes the land is interrupted by plateaus, gorges, caves.

The morphology of the island is varied as the geological ages have signalled different landscapes, so there are allegations of granite, basalt, limestone among many others.
The mountains are often covered with lush forests and provide viable and walking paths, mountain bike or off road. Waterfalls and springs located in mountainous areas create water games that are not expected at all. Ponds, lakes and rivers divide the landscape creating beautiful views.

The presence of an abundant nature, varied and not always contaminated by man, has helped to protect several areas, so there are many protected parks, both marine and land, that you can enjoy.

You can choose different routes and then be carried by your own desire and expectations. You can enjoy well-being and relaxation in the spas. You can adventure and have fun by practicing extreme sports such as climbing, paragliding or surfing. You can enjoy eating-travel itineraries tasting the products of the territories or you can wander among the towns and small cities characterised by different features depending on the area.

A holiday in Sardinia needs all relevant information to be able to better plan it and get the best out of it. It is useful to read and find out about the island, what we can do and see, how to get there and how to move inside and around it. Where and what to eat. What typical objects you can buy. What are the services offered to tourists. Where to stay and what is the most suitable accommodation structure.
The choice may be a hotel in Sardinia or a vacation house or even a bed & breakfast. Upon your arrival in Sardinia you will discover very much more. Something that no guide can describe.
