Many people assume that just because a toy was purchased from an online store, it is automatically safe for their pet. But this is not the case, because these pet toys are made for pets of certain sizes and with certain playing styles. There can even be some dog toys that can be dangerous for dogs if your dogs are not properly supervised.

Pets that chew violently have very particular needs when it comes to pet toys. You should always remember to give big dogs toys that are made for larger breed dogs, because small toys can choke your pets.

Aggressive chewers (especially large aggressive chewers) can suffer from a whole host of health issues with improperly selected dog toys. Any plastic, hollow squeaker pet toys is automatically out without proper supervision, because these kinds of toys can choke your pets when they swallow it. Aggressive chewers tend to easily rip pieces of plastic from these toys apart. Furthermore, plush toys, like stuffed animals can easily be ripped and eaten by your dogs so you should pick pet toys with extra caution.

We pet lovers don’t have to worry, just remember these things. First, these dog toys are still made for dogs. Toys can be really a nice gift to our dogs. You can find many pet toys in the market today. But if you do not have time to supervise your dogs while playing buying safe dog toy for them is necessary. A Large rope is a great idea because aside from it can clean your pet’s teeth; it can not be easily ripped apart which makes it an ideal toy for any aggressive chewing type of dogs.

Your big dogs can still have fun with any toys, because most dog toy makers offer larger versions of all of their pet toys, you simply have to find them.

You may want to try brands like Kong that uses thick rubber which is more durable compare to traditional thin plastic pet toys, so these pet toys can stand up to your aggressive chewer dog. Hard rubber pet toys are ideal for large pets that can destroy its pet toys quicker than you can get them.

Finally, another great toy for your pets is dog toys that need to "do something". Like a large plastic dome with treats inside that your dog needs to paw around the toy in order to get the treats. These kinds of pet toys are good for very active dogs (but not for dogs that are easily bored). Any large plastic dome toys should still be watched at first, however, because dogs that like to "kill" their toys (shake their dog toys violently back and forth) may try to do so with their heavy plastic toys, causing untold amount of damage.

Pet toy manufacturers have done a much better job of making pet toys for larger dogs and aggressive chewers. Still, it is a good idea to check each toys carefully before you let your dogs play with it, and do not forget to supervise your pets for a while to ensure it is using the toys correctly.
