One thing that can be very annoying is having a house, apartment or car that smells like pets, even when your dog is not present. Shampooing your pet every week is simply not enough. Recently, during a vacation, I stayed at a beautiful bed and breakfast. If I had to rate their service, I would have given them three stars.

On the other hand, I give them 1 star for only one reason—the owner’s pet had a bad scent. The maid sprayed the area every few hours. I finally told the owner that all the carpet cleaners and sprays available in the market will only get rid of the pet scent. You have to use dog cologne or perfume. Then you do not have to spray down the lobby area as often.

As amazing as it may sound, many people say that pets and their owners start to look a lot like each other over the years. Personally, I know a woman who looks a lot like her dog Arnold. Whether or not you start to look like your dog, you definitely don’t want to smell like your dog!

So, this is why the perfume industry is now catering to the most sensitive noses in the world—dogs. Whether you want to freshen up your dog after a long jog in the park, keep him smelling powder fresh all day long, or just give him a boost of a strong vanilla scent for that extra attention, there’s definitely a dog perfume out there that you both will like.

Perfume - A Great Addition To Grooming Habits

Giving your pet his own perfume is absolutely the next step in good grooming. It is more than just giving him a bath and getting his coat trimmed. Dog perfume is a new level of pampering your pet.

Dog perfumes and colognes have evolved to meet the needs of consumers with four-legged friends. Since perfumes are considered an accessory, like outfits and jewelries, the way you dress and pamper your dog reflects your personal style. So if are into perfumes, you can now buy one exclusively for your dog.

Is Cologne Way Too Strong For Your Dog?

Dog colognes and perfumes are very popular these days. But what’s even more popular is a grooming spritz. A pet grooming spritz offers the same sweet scents and freshness for your dog, but they are not too strong like regular cologne. Pet sprays often appeals to the rich but the prices are affordable so that people from each income bracket can afford to buy a dog spray.

Dog grooming spritz was first used to extend the time between your dog’s baths. Today, these products keep your pets smelling fresh and better for a prolonged amount of time. Some are even made to combat against dirt, making your dog extra clean and not just smelling fresh. There are even sprays available that glitters and gives your dog a little sparkle and make her truly smelling and looking fresh.
