Now is the time ! No , not to date again with my ex – not yet ! I am going to date somebody every week. Why ? Well, a friend of mine told me this secret. Once you start dating again, this can do wonders to your ex. Sometimes it just shows that you have moved on and you are getting on just fine. All the better if my ex finds out .

So, I have decided. I do feel a bit nervous about the whole thing but this is much better than staying home, in bed and watching TV and becoming a couch potato. Way to go ! This could be fun too and after all I am not looking for a long term relationship – just want to have fun. So the possibilities these days are endless. I can make new friends as well and widen my social circle.

I can try chatting on-line – there are a myriad of sites to choose from. I can even find specific ones for different religious groups or age groups or ones based on special interests or culture etc etc.

A friend of mine tried speed dating. Great fun. You can get to have dates that last between a few minutes 2 to 5 minutes , then you move on to the next person. It is fast and then if you click with someone then you just arrange to swap numbers and fix a date.

Maybe I will try a dinner club. Most of the larger cities have these and a meal/dinner is arranged so I am going to do that and aim to have a pleasant evening and a nice dinner, even if nothing happens.

So I am just going to do it ! I feel a bit nervous but nothing ventured, nothing gained. There are a few things I will have to remember once I am on my first date. I will soon become an expert as I am going to do this once a week !

On the date, I am NOT going to talk about my ex – no way. Thinking about it, that could be disastrous – who wants to go out with somebody who is miserable? But I am going to focus on the date and make a real effort to get to know him/her. This could become a great friendship or even a future lover so I have to give it all I have got. If at the end of the evening nothing has happened I am going to be so frank (in the nicest possible way) and I am not going to string him/her along.

I am going to enjoy myself and I do not care if my ex finds out – all the better. I am going to forget my ex for one evening – isn’t it about time ? I am going to impress and dress to impress. I am going to keep an open mind – this could be the beginning of something great.

If I do NOT meet someone even vaguely interesting I am not going to let it get me down. I am going out on another date next week ! What the hell ! Now here is a thought – what if my ex is doing exactly the same thing and dating too ? The link below tells me exactly what to do.
