Cherry Creek State Park is always bustling with people (1.5 million a year). It has an 880 acre surface lake that must be seen. It offers a great view of gentle rolling hills and complete outdoor recreational activities.

Tourists can watch birds in their natural habitat in the Birds Observatory. You can also do fishing, boating, jet and water skiing, sailing, swimming, biking and horse riding. You can do all these things right in the middle of an urban area.
