It is not readily absorbed by the skin’s cells. It does not penetrate deeply. It can clog the pores and aggravate conditions like acne.

The best firming lotion contains ingredients like grape seed oil, an effective moisturizer, rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E. It can penetrate deeply and it also dries to a lightweight film that locks in moisture. It can be used by people with any skin-type, because it doesn’t cause the problems that mineral oil derivates like petrolatum cause.
