There are many things that can cause wrinkles. The first thing is the natural process of aging. Excessive damage to the skin can also cause wrinkles to occur before they should. Unhealthy lifestyle and a damaging environment are also what causes wrinkles. To make sure that these things do not happen to you, you should be aware of what is happening to your skin and the things that you can do to prevent it.

Keeping your skin care routine is one of the best things that you can do for your skin. It is very important that you keep the skin clean and well moisturized to prevent any premature aging or what causes wrinkles. When your skin is well exfoliated and kept in good condition you will be preventing wrinkles for a longer period of time. You must be consistent with your skin care routine and make sure that you always remember to keep your skin moisturized.

Protecting your skin is one of the best ways that you can prevent wrinkles as well. What causes wrinkles in the environment are sunshine, smoke and pollution. It is very important that you keep your skin cleaned of all these environmental problems that can affect your skin. Wear a sunscreen whenever you are out in the harmful rays of the sun and make sure that it is strong enough to keep your skin protected. Many people do not reapply their sunscreen often enough for it to be effective. Make sure that you are reapplying all the time and keeping your skin from becoming wrinkled by the sun.

A poor diet is often what causes wrinkles. You should always make sure that you are drinking plenty of water every day to keep you skin hydrated. You probably have heard about how important it is to keep your body hydrated, but it is just as important for the health of your skin. Watch your diet as well to make sure that you are getting the proper nutrition for your body and your skin. A poor diet will often display the results right on your face.

Lack of sleep and proper rest is another answer for what causes wrinkles. You should give your skin time to rejuvenate every day so that you are doing what you can to make sure your skin stays young and healthy. It is very important that you get all the rest that your body needs every day to avoid any of the problems that come with a lack of proper rest.

What causes wrinkles most often is a lack of understanding about the causes of skin problems. If you are interested in preventing wrinkles it is very important that you find out how they are caused. This can help you to keep them from appearing on your skin prematurely.
