Today, plus size jewelry have become commonplace among various online jewelry shops over the Internet. Plus size jewelry range from simple stud earrings to glamorous necklaces and bracelets. While it is no doubt that plus size jewelry pieces are extremely dazzling, purchasing them over the Internet does have its setbacks. For instance, you are unable to fit them as compared to jewelry companies you find in the malls. As such, here are a few things that you may want to look into before purchasing plus size jewelry online.

Sizes

Many jewelry companies would often include a number of one size fits all pieces of jewelry in their plus size jewelry listings. It is best to get plus size jewelry where the sizes are specified instead of one size fits all pieces, especially when buying plus size rings over the Internet. These may just be smaller or larger than your size. Instead of enjoying your jewelry, you may wind up spending more for having this being adjusted to fit you.

Extenders

Even if you have taken your measurements before selecting your plus size jewelry, there may be some slight differences in measurements when you receive them. If you are looking into getting a bracelet, anklet or necklace over the Internet, make sure that the company that you are getting them also offers extenders. Extenders are optional clasps that you can attach to your purchased plus size jewelry in case that the size is relatively smaller than what you were expecting. Companies would often specify whether or not the plus size jewelry that you are purchasing come with an extender. If there is nothing specified, it would be best to contact their customer service to check. Many jewelry companies have customer service agents that you can inquire through chat systems or through toll-free numbers that would be able to answer your concerns.

Warranty

Depending on how often you use your plus size jewelry, these would eventually tend to wear out and be damaged. Make sure that the jewelry company you are getting your jewelry from does provide you with a warranty and includes the warranty certificate in the package. Also make sure that you are aware on the coverage of the warranty. Some companies would only include the repair of your plus size jewelry while others may include cleaning and maintenance of your jewelry piece.

Return Policies

Jewelry companies do guarantee that they would be able to ship to you the piece of jewelry that you have ordered. Sometimes, however, the size may be extremely smaller than what you ordered or there may be some damage brought about by the shipping of the jewelry. To keep you protected from these events, make sure that the jewelry company does have a return policy. Whether it is a money-back guarantee or an immediate replacement of the jewelry that is shipped to you, it is still best to have some sort of fall back to make sure that you get what you are paying for.
