A lot of people spend their life working hard and tending the needs of others that they often neglect to give themselves some TLC from time to time. Though a little pampering can ease our mind and body, we often think that it costs a lot of money. Not anymore because there are a lot of creative and inexpensive ways you can nurture yourself. You can indulge yourself in a lot of ways; it can range from treating yourself to your favorite dessert or going to your preferred masseuse for a hot stone massage therapy session. It really depends on you. The more resourceful and economical it is the better. Here are some suggestions that can inspire you.

1. Reading a good book.

An instant vacation would probably be reading a good book. You can either go to your nearest park or bring along a book that you’ve been meaning to read or just read it in the comfort of your own home. Either way, it is like going to holiday without actually going away.

2. Take a nice, long warm bubble bath.

Enjoy yourself by filling your mind and senses with a nice fragrance and soak as long as you can. You can even indulge yourself by buying different kinds of shower gels so you will have the option of choosing one every time you take a shower.

3. Treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure.

Go to a nail salon and get a manicure and pedicure twice a month. This will surely give you an instant boost especially when people will be raving about how great your nails and hands are.

4. Reflect on your achievements

Spend a little time to be quiet and reflect on the things you have done on the last month or even only at that day. Congratulate yourself and acknowledge your achievements in taking care of the kids and so on. It will definitely enhance your self-esteem.

You can also take short breaks whether you’re an at home mom or a working executive. You can close your eyes and daydream, or simply have a short chat with a close friend.

5. Take a new class

Whatever it is, consider trying a new dancing class or even a karate class. It may be a stretch financially but with just a little cut on some of your budget, you will surely enjoy learning something new.

6. Have a massage

There are lots of different types of massages available. You just need to find the right one for you. You can try a hot stone massage therapy or a Shiatsu massage.

7. Buy or avail of low-cost things.

There are a lot of inexpensive things you can enjoy. For instance, you can buy a soothing eye cream for a foot gel at the Body shop. Another idea is to go to a fancy restaurant and order the cheapest thing on the menu. In this way, you can enjoy the best things in life without splurging on it.

Whatever way you want to pamper yourself, it all depends on you. But be sure that you will enjoy yourself and feel refreshed. After all, a little TLC will give you the boost you need to feel more loved.
