Now when it comes to retail therapy Liverpool excels. Offering a wide range of fashionable, chic, individual and eclectic shops as well as all the major names you would expect to find in a major city.

Anyway enough introductions, lets get in to specifics:

Liverpool One

Liverpool ONE offers more than 160 famous high street stores, ultra-hip fashion brands, cool independent boutiques, cafés and restaurants to the city centre. The size of 28, yes 28 football pitches, it is one of the biggest and most expensive developments in the country.

With John Lewis, which is the North West's largest department store and Debenhams now open, together with a whole host of exciting brands such as Aldo, All Saints, Pull and Bear and Zara Home, Liverpool shoppers are in for a treat!

There's more, get carried away in what is a transformed shopping destination including American Apparel, the exciting brands first shop outside of London, Urban Outfitters, Mango, Flannels, Republic and Esprit alongside Nike, USC and Puma.

The Met Quarter

You may think that 28 football pitches is enough but then you have got to see the jewel in the crown of Liverpool's shopping experience. Situated opposite the Liverpool One, shopping heaven begins when you head down to the sensational Met Quarter, boasting all of the hottest brands, with many of them exclusive to the Met Quarter. Treat yourself to a little something or two by designers like Armani, Flannels and Diesel before taking some time out to relax on a sofa with a coffee to admire the many artworks on display.

Let’s fling some names about that you will find at the Met: All Saints, Animal, Billabong, Coast, Guess, Miss Sixty, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, Gieves and Hawkes, Fire Trap, Storm and Fossil. Plus much more which you will just have to discover. Remember that coffee we mentioned earlier.

Cavern Walks Designer Shopping Centre

You can't shop in Liverpool without visiting Cavern Walks, situated on Liverpool's famous Mathew Street, in the heart of the buzzing Cavern Quarter. Cavern Walks is full of Liverpool's best independents.

As well as Vivienne Westwood, Cricket, Drome Women and Drome Couture, Boudoir Boutique (tell me you are not curious) Solely Shoes, Lucy in the Sky and Kids Cavern, plus much more you can also find the original door to the legendary Cavern Club.

If you are still looking for further temptation then wander up Church Street the City's main street which houses the main stores. You can also stroll up Bold Street for smaller stores, it’s all there!

Albert Dock

As the region's premier tourist attraction you'd expect to be able to pick up something special to remind you of your visit, but the Albert Dock offers much more! From Beatles and football memorabilia, to original prints of Liverpool to gadgets and arts and craft, the Dock shopping experience offers something for all. With the Apple Shop and the Tate Gallery's own store you can also pick up something a little bit special or treat yourself to something special.
