It’s great to know that siblings can get along sometimes, especially if they form a band together. The Jonas Brothers have done just that and making music is their specialty. The brothers consist of Kevin, Joe and Nick and it is obvious that their one shared passion is making music. Since the start of their short career they have released two albums, which have been met with great success from fans and critics around the world. They may be young, but do not underestimate their dedication to both their fans and their music; they will shock you with their classic and unique style of song.

The band initially started as a solo project of Nicholas Jonas, and he was only six years old when he was discovered while singing at a barber shop, of all places. Soon afterwards, he was referred to a professional show business manager, and in no time he was climbing the ladder to the top of charts. Before records became his main interest he acted in several shows on Broadway including A Christmas Carol, Annie Get Your Gun, Beauty and the Beast and Les Miserables.

After his several stints on Broadway, he turned his attentions to making music. An executive at Columbia Records found out about young Nick’s talents, and he was soon signed to INO Records and Columbia Records. During his solo time he released the songs “Please Be Mine,” and “Joy To the World,” which was a Christmas special that Nick had recorded. It was during this time that the record executive decided to sign Nick and his brothers to the label, and the group started to tour around the world. They supported acts such as Kelly Clarkson, Jesse McCartney, The Backstreet Boys and the Click Five.

Before any time at all the brothers were becoming an international sensation and people were buying up all of their albums around the world. Some of the songs that they released during this initial time were “What I Go to School For,” “Mandy,” and a cover of the song, “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life For Me).”

They are still young, but they are by no means inexperienced.
