Getting Rejected by Women and How to Avoid It

A man can be be rejected. It is a universal constant. You can't eliminate rejection, but you can minimize your risk. To do that, it's good to understand the reasons why men get rejected and how you can increase your chances of not being rejected.

First of all, fear of being rejected is a normal response. As your skill with women increases, you'll feel less nervous and more capable, but don’t expect a complete exorcism of the feeling. Wise men don't try to eradicate rejection but instead deal with the reality of rejection in such a way that it doesn't impact their lives. They do this by continuing to hone their skills.

Second, the cause of most rejection doesn't have anything to do with the man! That's right; it's her, not you. She may not think any man is good enough for her. She may not like men in general. She may want a man to be submissive to her. These are things that are out of your control, so it’s best if you don't take them personally. Remind yourself that finding the right woman means that you will occasionally have to deal with one who is completely off-putting. It's not a reflection on you and shouldn’t bother you too much.

Conversely, some women are polite, engaging and happy to have a conversation with you, but they reject you anyway. That’s because they're already taken. Women like these can have their choice of men, and there's a good chance that high-quality ladies are already taken, especially if they’re approachable. Tell yourself that you're aware that some women won't be looking for a relationship and that you accept this reality, because somewhere out there is a woman who isn't taken, and you're going to find her.

There are also women in the world who intentionally lead men on because they enjoy the attention, often because of their own self-esteem issues but perhaps because they’re disillusioned by dating. Until women like this change their way of thinking, you'll get shot down. It's that simple. Tell yourself that some women have emotional and psychological problems that prevent them from giving you a fair chance, and that this isn't your fault. Mark ladies like this off your list and move on to the next one.

Timing is another reason that men get rejected. You can't know what she was talking on the phone about ten minutes before you showed up or what worries are going on in her head. Maybe her best friend is in the hospital or she just got evicted. Even if everything were to go over well under other circumstances, the stress of the moment will cause her to reject you. Remind yourself that you're not all-knowing and that some rejections just aren't going to make sense to you. Don’t get upset about it. It's all part of the process.

All this having been said, sometimes rejection is the fault of the man. If you're obscene or overbearing and your lady tells you to shove it, then you're the one with the problem. If you approach a woman looking like a scared puppy and she tells you to get lost, then you deserve that kick in the ego. If you're completely platonic and win a woman’s friendship but lose any chance of ever becoming her lover, then you're the one sending the wrong messages in the first place.

Consider it this way. You can't fix the things that are out of your control simply because they’re out of your control, but you can work on the things that make rejection your fault! You can learn to say the right things. You can learn to present yourself authentically and attractively. You can learn to become someone that women take a second look at. You'll deal positively with rejection and continue to approach women by using the correct methods.
