If you're looking for student jobs Leeds has more bars and clubs than you can shake a stick at! Why not combine your bar skills with your music taste when choosing bar work in Leeds? In venues like TigerTiger and Oceana you can boogie as you clear glasses and pull pints, if club classics and party anthems are your thing. If not, Hifi and Cockpit are two of the best anti-cheese clubs in Leeds, specialising only in cool- work a long shift and dance your way through it!

Hours in a shop can be really flexible -- great student job if you don't like to work late. Leeds is one of the best places in the country for shopping, so pick your favourite shops to apply for, and hopefully get some staff discount! Shop work is also great if you want to specifically work weekends, allowing you to 'study' during the week... yeh right! The St Johns Centre has loads of student friendly shops like Jumbo Records and Poundland, whereas the Victoria Quarter has been nicknamed the 'Knightsbridge of the North' with fancy shops and boutiquey places such as Diesel and Karen Millen.

Forget that expensive gym membership, if you're looking for student jobs Leeds has a variety of restaurants and that's the best way to keep fit as a student! Its not for the faint of heart or couch potatoes; on your feet for hours at a time can be tiring, but you're being paid for it so who cares? The money is generally good, but your real earner is with tips, so remember to smile through that hangover! Chain restaurants like Nandos and Wagamama are good places to work: if you can afford to eat there you can afford to tip well!

The Student's Union of any Leeds University is such a great place to work if you want to be close to where you live and are not fussy about what you do. The Leeds University Union (LUU) always looks for new people to fill their staff gap from the massive turnover of students in and out its doors each year. Jobs can include a mixture of everything above, bar work, shop work- anything your union provides and needs maintained! So if you want to grab a few shifts here and there it's a quick and easy way to earn some cash.

OK, so its no-ones dream job, but it's surprising how jammy a call centre job can be when you're a student. All you do is sit on a chair and talk to the public; no standing on your feet for hours, and it's nice and warm! Perhaps the downsides include the slight soul destroying element after buckets of verbal abuse from angry homeowners, but generally the money is good. So if you are have the gift of the gab, what student job in Leeds could be more up your street?! Leeds has loads of call centres that especially seek to recruit students, so what are you waiting for?
