Your home Internet business has now just started to grow nicely. You have now developed a good list and a good few customers, and you have finally started to make a little profit. Your workload has increased to the point that you now feel it is necessary to outsource your work. But unfortunately you just can't afford it right now. Fortunately, you have a friend or family member that maybe has just been made redundant or out of work, who have lots of free time, or perhaps just happy to help, so you want them to be able to come to your house and give them access to needed files on their own computers.

Once your home business has passed the very early stages, its needs often change. At the beginning, your business just needed the bare essentials in place. You were able to perform adequately on your own, as you had no list or your customer base was very small. With no profits, there was no extra money to be spent. Now that a little profit is being made, thoughts turn to the possibility of outsourcing or employees.

The family members or friends will need the ability to access files from your main computer. The good news is that networking computers is now easier than ever.

More and more networks are going to a wireless option. You will need a router, which connects to your broadband modem and distributes the signal to your networked devices (which can include printers and other devices as well as computers). You will also need a wireless adapter for each device in the network.

Your router and wireless adapters will come with instructions and possibly installation CDs. all you need to do is simply follow the instructions in the provided manuals, and install the software from the provided CD.

Once your network is set up, it is easy to get it running. You will get an icon in the bottom right of your screen. Clicking that icon will allow you to connect to the network.

Wireless networking is reliable, fast, and easy. Wireless networking allows you to share a broadband internet connection among multiple computers, share files between computers, and share other devices from printers to DVRs, all without the annoyance of wires. It also allows your networked laptop to be truly portable, as you can connect from anywhere within your router's range.

Wireless networking is an excellent alternative to unsightly wires. A wireless network is fast and easy, as well as reliable. The advantage of wireless over wired networks is the ability to connect from anywhere within the range. This means that various computers and devices can be spread through different rooms, yet all run on the very same network. And when you're doing a lot of work on your computer it's great to be able to move around with your laptop, without losing your connectivity.

The key advantage of wireless networking is portability of components. Computers and devices will connect to the network from anywhere within approximately 300 foot range. This allows you to position components in different rooms, as well as the joy of been able to move around with your laptop computer, without losing your connection.
