I may have my mind set on a certain type of software or a certain marketing technique or a certain program that I am going to try. Since I now know the value of online forums, I will usually go in and submit a new thread asking those who are knowledgeable to give me an opinion about what i am going to do. People usually respond to my thread in a timely mannner and I go through the responses to see what kind of incites I can get.

On many occasions people have shown me things that have saved me a whole lot of money and anguish by exposing something about what I was thinking that I just plain didn't see and they will replace it with something that was far better than what I had my mind on. Some of the top forums I participate in heavily are the Warrior Forum, Conqer Your Niche, and Associate Programs. I find that these forums have a lot of really cool members who are successful and willing to help you with any troubles that you may be having with getting your own business off the ground.

Being a part of online forums is something that I would suggest to every newbie marketer out there. Your membership will allow you access to so many great resources as well as putting you in contact with several thousand people who can also be prospects for your own business if you play your cards right. Also forums give you the ability to leave a small signature ad at the end of every post, so forums also give you great marketing exposure as well. I think forums are an invaluable tool to have at your expense while you're learning what it takes to build a business on the internet.
