I´ve written before about the effect of the World Recession on everybody and , in reality, it should now be apparent to everybody that no-ones´ job is really safe anymore. Globalisation of companies has made them very big, unwieldy and ultimately very prone to rationalisation ie. job cutting. Barely a day goes by when you don´t hear of more job cuts and the horizon isn´t looking that great for anyone at this minute. So how can you protect your job - well - you probably can´t - but you should be looking to protect yourself and your family.

I get asked many times about making money working from home and if you “Google” it you´ll find that it is one of the the most popular searched for keywords on the Internet. Firstly, a small revolution is taking place. You should look at the overall position - Companies are already outsourcing many tasks and are going to be looking to outsource many more of their jobs to workers from home because it is much more cost effective. They don´t have to supply office space, heating, electricity, canteen facilities, health insurance, holiday pay and a pay check every week too. Hence the rise in Virtual Personal Assistants working from home doing all of the jobs that used to be done in the Office environment. The advent of Broadband, Teleconferencing, Videoconferencing and even just chat has made all of these tasks so much easier to control.

Because there are a plethora of jobs available working from home it is easy to get confused. For instance, you will find here on my blog nearly 300 jobs I uploaded today and these range from people prepared to pay you for posting and writing blogs to Admin Assistant, Web Designer, VP of Finance, Sales Consultant, Copywriter and much much more. You will honestly be surprised at the range of jobs on offer - I was. Now some of these jobs will be poorly paid and some of the companies will probably need further investigation before you make any commitment to them but there are many, many legitimate companies out there that offer good pay and which you will find good to work with and for. It´s like everything else - you have to do some due diligence to make sure they´re all above board. It´s simpler now to do research because the all encompassing web has information about everything and people are always ready to post bad experiences they´ve had with jobs and Companies. Where you can, try and see if they will let you contact someone with whom you´ll be working with or even someone that they employ now in a similar position – don´t forget that they´re looking for good people too and this request will not appear out of place.. As regards paying for Employment Agencies to find you a job – sure- there are a few about – but honestly it will take you a few minutes work to find hundreds of available jobs online, I personally don´t think it´s worth spending your hard earned cash!

For those of you who want to explore the areas of working for yourself and maybe doing Internet Marketing then you´ll also find plenty of information on my Free Website about many opportunities and also some great tips to make sure you´ll never lose any money to scammers.
