Friends may end up becoming lovers but you can never be friends to get your ex back.

This myth has been instilled in the minds of every person who have yet to experience, are experiencing or have experienced love - young or old, male or female, or even genders that are in between.

Unfortunately, I beg to disagree with the handful of people who worship this principle. Maybe they haven't experienced the pleasure of being in love. It is a screaming fact that a lot of couples had first become friends, classmates, adversaries, or maybe just a mere acquaintance before their mutual feelings developed into a deeper level of affection. From friendship, their relationship bloomed to be an inseparable couple. But due to some reasons, their ways part. Their sweet moments fade. Their dreams shatter. Consequently, they tend to look for someone to pick up those pieces and put them back. They resort to entering into a new relationship, only to find out that the one they really are looking for is the one that they left behind.

Then, what are you waiting for? Start making your move.

Be friends to get your ex back. Never loose your communication. Initiate chitchat, like what you usually do with any acquaintance. Even by simply sending several quotes through text message or a life verse from the Bible would do a lot to perpetuate the connection between the two of you.

Those old corny jokes that you used to share with her, they could surely help. A confidant that you have become. Or perhaps, the good neighbor or the wacky classmate that have always been.
