Another idea is that you can ask the parents of the children from the daycare to donate baked goods for a bake sale. This works better than asking for donations. You can sell the items given by the parents for a minimal price to attract customers (or at a marked up price to earn revenues quickly). You can even ask the parents to sell the goods themselves.

They will only be too happy to help. You can either use the daycare center as the location for the sale, or you can sell the items door to door. Either way, this will work since, besides not requiring money upfront, the children will be very enthusiastic with this type of activity.

Besides these, you can also take advantage of the parents’ primary concern and interest: their children. You can sell pictures of their children for a marked-up price, or items created by the children. This may not seem appropriate, but the parents will only be more than willing to help if they know that this is for fundraising.

Event fundraisers are also great daycare fundraisers, especially since the children can still get involved. You can turn the center into a mini-restaurant, where the children can serve as the waiters. They can even “prepare” the food, a novelty the parents will surely enough. This event can transcend helping the daycare collect the necessary funds; the parents will enjoy the feeling of being served by their children.

There are other ideas which you can employ and use for your fundraising endeavor. Must make sure that these ideas are fun, safe, and appropriate and you can count on them succeeding.
