This method is very difficult to get accurate readings with. In order to maintain accuracy, you must take your temperature at the same time every morning. Also, illness can cause your basal body temperature to go up. Some also believe stress can cause the reading to be inaccurate. Because of the outside factors, it is not a reliable method to use in order to chart ovulation.

Mistake 3: They Spend Lots of Money on a Specialist

Often, women who are experiencing difficulty with conception turn to a fertility specialist. People who are trying to pinpoint their ovulation do not necessarily need a specialist. When ovulation prediction is the issue, specialists will not be able to do anything the woman could not do herself.
