If you are looking for the best places to ski in Utah, than Brighton Ski Resort should certainly be at the top of your list in terms of places to check out. Everybody avid skier knows all about the high quality skiing in Utah.

The state is recognized the world over for it’s incredible skiing, and actually hosted the two thousand and two winter Olympic games, which obvious demonstrates its' notoriety for winter sports.

Despite all the great ski resorts here, Brighton consistently comes out near the top, no small feat in this loaded area. This is a location that really doesn’t advertise too much, but for those who know about it, it is a skiers' paradise.

They have more than one thousand skiable acres, and a nearly two thousand foot vertical drop. In addition to these impressive stats, they have three different lodges, great rental packages, one of the best ski and snowboard schools around, and anyone under the age of six doesn’t have to pay.

They are open every day of the week for six full months, and they offer nighttime skiing from early December through March, the prime ski times.
If you are looking for a place that you can pretty much count on being skiable all winter long, this is it. Quite simply, it averages five hundred inches of snow a year, and that’s not a misprint.

Brighton Ski Resort gets this much snow because the bottom of the resort is eight thousand and seven hundred feet above sea level, and the top is ten and a half thousand feet. Moreover, the snow is almost always ideal for skiing and snowboarding, and it also has state of the art grooming technology to make sure the trails are in great shape all day long.

They are groomed each night for this purpose. Moreover, the entire trail system is serviced by the fast quad system, and for this reason, even if everyone in your group is of a different ability level, you can all ride up together, branch off to your respective trails, and them find each other at the end and ride up again.

The more advanced trails wind though trees, and you should only tackle these ones if you are a top skier or snowboarder.

As far as the nighttime skiing goes, twenty two runs and more than two hundred acres are serviced by the lights, certainly more than enough to meet any diehard skiers needs.

If you want to improve your ability level, then you can either take individual or group lessons. Again, the ski school at Brighton Ski Resort has a great rep, so you are in good hands should you learn to ski or snowboard here.

In addition, they also offer a half pipe for you to practice your tricks with, and if you are skiing in Utah anytime soon, then Brighton Ski Resort is definitely a place you will want to check it.
