Finding the Cheapest Hotels in San Antonio

San Antonio is currently gaining popularity as a tourist spot. It is a place where you can find beautiful attractions and exotic wildlife.

Being an atmospheric and beautiful city, San Antonio offers a great blend of various ethnic groups and mixed language. There’s Spanish and English. San Antonio has excellent aquariums and zoos. Most visitors usually gather by the River Walk or the Paso del Rio. This is where you can locate the most common large hotels as well as the smaller accommodations and lodging facilities, cafés and shops along the sidewalk.

During your stay in the country you can explore the beautiful attraction of San Antonio. If you are sightseeing lover, there are some beautiful attractions located near the hotels in San Antonio such as Alamo Plaza, Children museum, Plaza Theater of Wax and San Antonio Mission National Historical Park. The county is also the home of the NBA team San Antonio Spurs.

When planning to visit San Antonio, you will surely need a place to stay. You will find here a wide range of hotels, lodges and inns. It will not be very difficult to choose one as many hotels here offer affordable rates to their clients.

The Red Roof Inn Downtown Hotel is a good example. It is situated in the heart of downtown San Antonio. It is conveniently accessible to area attractions like historic Alamo, Alamo dome, and the Market Square, along with the wonderful River walk and Center and Tower of the Americas.

It has several outdoor pools. Rooms are quite large with complete basic amenities. Although the hotel has no restaurant onsite, a coffee shop is easily accessible at the hotel lobby. A lot of restaurants are situated within short distances outside, such as Hard Rock Café, The Tower of the Americas Restaurant, Morton’s of Chicago and a lot of other famous places along the River Walk.

You can also try the Homestead San Antonio-Airport Hotel, located about 3 miles away from the San Antonio International Airport. It is also about 15 miles away from downtown San Antonio. it is also within 15 miles away from fiesta Texas, Market Square, and the San Antonio Zoo, along with the Alamo River Center, the River walk, and the Southwestern Bell Stadium.

Housekeeping services are provided twice a week, for guests staying for seven nights at least. But if you want privacy, you may opt to drop the housekeeping service.

All their guest rooms have full kitchen equipments, stovetops, microwaves, refrigerators and cooking utensils. Pets are allowed in the hotel but they are strict with their “one pet per room” policy.

Also worth trying is the Drury Inn and Suites San Antonio. This hotel serves hot and quick complimentary breakfast daily. Complementary night beverages and hot snacks are also being offered daily. There is free wireless internet access in the lobby. There is a laundry facility and an exercise room.

And last but not the least is Econo Lodge Inn and Suites Coliseum. It provides wireless high-speed internet access and outdoor pools. The hotel is just 8.3 miles away from the airport. It is also 3 miles away from downtown San Antonio. This hotel serves one of the best continental breakfasts.
