Whether during the daytime or at night, Boracay is a great place to meet people. If you're lucky, you might even get a chance to find yourself a cute Boracay date. Here are the 7 best places where you can meet singles and light the spark of your Boracay romance.

Bars and Cafe del Mar

The most common way to meet new people in Boracay is still one of the best. Bars are lined up on the entire length of White Beach, most being in Stations 1 and 2. If you want to meet someone single, go there by yourself. Don’t go for the noisy ones, it would be hard to start a conversation with the loud thumping music and in the dark. Try the bars with a quiet atmosphere. Go to Cafe Del Mar, which is probably the most romantic place for it has the only private seating area available on White Beach. The music is a relaxing Mediterranean.

Restaurants and Lemon Cafe

If approaching someone in a restaurant is your style, Lemon Cafe near D*Mall is a good place to do your stuff. It’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While you’re searching for a possible date through your peripheral vision, take a nibble of their salad and a sip of their exquisite drinks.

White Beach and Games

The captivating white sand of White Beach is filled with vacationers. Your Boracay date just might be that person lying on the beach in her bathing suit or his trunks. Or join strangers playing Frisbee or volleyball. Be friendly. The sun and sand are best when shared.

Resorts and Microtel Inn

Alone in your resort? You’re not the only one. Notice that cute guy or girl who takes the shuttle to White Beach at the same time you do? It wouldn't hurt to ask for a name. Microtel Inn, which is a 5-minute ride from D*Mall, is probably the most quiet and private resort you can find. Accommodation rates are reasonable, too. Meet with someone on the premises and plan a date when going to White Beach.

Books and Dave’s Straw Hat Inn

Looking for an avid reader like yourself? Go to Plazoleta near Station 2 where you can buy, sell, or trade books. Or check in at Dave’s Straw Hat Inn south of Station 3 and trade books with others.

Diving and Maniguin Island

Diving is a must-do once you’re in Boracay. Make it the chance to meet the one meant for you. Have your group join another group on a boat trip that will take you to surrounding islands and give you the chance to snorkel. Once you see your prospect, wait for the chance to be alone in Maniguin Island, which is one of the islands you’ll visit. Sustain the momentum and perhaps a date along White Beach comes next.

Exploring and Mountain Biking

Have your friends join the Cyclone MTB Club or go by yourself. If you’re the sporty type, meeting someone while exploring the vast beautiful scenery will be twice the thrill.
