Music is one of the most entertaining features of every wedding feast. Just like eating and drinking, there is no way in which music can be left out of a wedding party. Remember that it is not an obligation for music to be played at every wedding feast. But a wedding feast without music will never be appealing to your guest and even to you.

What you should know about music at every wedding feast is that the idea of including music in it is not necessarily for dancing. Music is simply to get the feast moving. A lot of features about music exist and this might make the best of your wedding party.

If you think about including music into your wedding plan, why not think of the game of musical chairs? Although this may sometimes be considered as an amusement meant for kids, it can be entertaining even to adults. You can use chairs for this game. In fact, everything that can take the place of chairs should be used. In some cases, the men may kneel down with one leg upward to serve as chairs for the women. The music is started and the women begin dancing around. When the music stops, all the women look for knees to sit on. If either or both of them fall to the ground, they are removed. The process goes on until just the final couple remaining carries the day.

You can use music to make this arrangement for anything. Remember that there is always a centerpiece waiting to be distributed. You can decide that the winner of this game gets the centerpiece. But make sure that you announce this ahead of getting your guests into the competition. But to make a fair representation of every person, you can call for every table to tender a representative.

There is one more inspiring game and this is known as “name the jingle”. But remember that this game will be enjoyed when the number of guest is small and when most of the guests are acquainted with both the bride and the groom. Before the music is played, you can come up with a list of tunes which are most cherished by the couple. Play just a small portion of the music and ask the guests to name the jingle. For the game to be easier and simpler, you should break up the guests into small groups. Remember that it will be easier and interesting to work in groups than as individuals.

Once the portion of the music is played, each group will have to name the tune. Usually, time limit should be given for the guess. If a group fails to name or guess the name of the music, the chance is given to the next group. Always create this in a way that will keep all your guests amused. Remember that this may not be feasible when dealing with a large guest.

One last feature about music is to let the guests move to the dance floor and perform what they know best. They can use what they know to call the bride and the groom and even other shy guests to the dancing floor.
